A company’s efficiency, growth, and profitability depend on setting a vision with measurable goals that leverage strengths.  This course gives manufacturers the proven keys to the three stages developing and deploying a strategy: identifying a current state, creating an ideal future state, and developing steps to bridge the gap.  

Target Audience:

Company leadership, supervisors, and key line personnel.

 

Learning outcomes:

Participant teams will jointly identify needs and objectives using a common development process.  Developing and deploying the strategy process builds teamwork and a culture of trust and respect.  Improved relationships, unity of purpose and momentum toward achievement are the outcomes.

Matt Allmand, Nebraska MEP Director, brings over 25 years of experience in industrial manufacturing and has progressed through production, purchasing, project management, lean manufacturing, and company leadership.

Allmand’s interest in manufacturing started at a young age while working at the Holdrege-based family business, Allmand Bros., Inc., which was a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality, portable job site equipment. Serving as president of the company, Allmand implemented numerous strategies to stabilize the company and increase profits. Allmand Bros. was acquired by Briggs & Stratton in 2014.
