Mapping Risk
To help manage your supply chain, the Nebraska MEP has developed a methodology to review your supplier base with a mapping process to determine the degree of risk that is currently embedded in your supply chain. This mapping process will provide a quantitative assessment of that risk.
Once the risks are quantified, the suppliers are mapped to response strategies that are consistent with the degree of risk. This process will allow your organization to determine if the risk management response is aligned to your business strategy.
An additional outcome of this process is the review for continuous improvement opportunities that will further lower your operating costs.
Building Reliability and Resilency
As a result of major supply chain performance pressures that our country has experienced the past few years, the United States has invested in the strategy to improve the performance and resiliency of our domestic supply chains.
In support of this key national strategy, the Nebraska Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), has invested in resources to help drive supply chain improvement opportunities in manufacturing organizations throughout the state.
To support this strategy, the Nebraska MEP has developed a supply chain assessment tool to review the performance and improvement opportunities of your supply chain. This is a no-charge service that can be completed on site or remotely and takes approximately an hour to complete.
Based on the results of this survey, and your improvement goals, we will work with you and your organization’s team to help drive the needed improvements.
