These services are sponsored, in part, by the Nebraska Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Nebraska MEP is an affiliate of the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership with Centers located in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. As required by NIST, Service Recipient agrees to register for a DUNS number and update North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes if requested by Nebraska MEP. DUNS numbers—assigned free of charge by Dun & Bradstreet—are internationally recognized and unique to each business location. NAICS codes classify establishments by type of activity. Nebraska MEP will assist Service Recipient in obtaining this information, if needed. Additionally, Service Recipient may be contacted by NIST within six (6) to twelve (12) months of completion of the Service and asked to complete a survey to determine impacts resulting from, and level of satisfaction with, Nebraska MEP services. Service Recipient agrees to participate in the survey, if contacted.
