Supply Chain Optimization Services Offered by the Nebraska MEP

An Overview of Supply Chain Optimization for Executives and Managers

A collection of Supply Chain Optimization best practices for manufacturers are introduced.  Participants conduct a private self-evaluation of their company’s Supply Chain Maturity.  As appropriate, participants are encouraged to share supply chain-related concerns, lessons learned, and their own best practices.  Typically 1-2 hours with open enrollment.


Supply Chain Optimization Workshop for Management Teams

The MEP’s basic Supply Chain Optimization processes are described.  The team works together to construct a basic mapping of the company’s supply value chain, make a preliminary listing of critical supply chain risks, and develop a priority partner engagement plan.  Typically 4-8 hours in duration on client site.

 

Supply Chain Strategy Development Workshop

The MEP’s Supply Chain Strategy Development processes are described.  The team works together to construct an integrated supply chain strategy and deployment game plan.  This workshop may include key external stakeholders as appropriate.  Typically 3-5 days in duration on client site.


Sourcing Decisions Workshop using the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Calculator

TCO analysis processes to support sourcing decisions are described in detail.  Participants are provided with the MEP’s TCO calculator tool and walk through example usage.  The MEP team will work with participants to analyze samples of client-relevant sourcing decisions with the TCO calculator.  Typically 2-3 days in duration on client site.



Supply Chain Risk Management Workshop

Supply chain risk assessment and management processes are described in detail.  Participants are provided with the MEP’s Risk Management tool and walk through example usage.  The MEP team works with participants to develop a prioritized risk registry, establish response triggers, response and mitigation plans, and a management strategy.  Typically 3 days in duration on client site.
